About Us...

A Service Company
WinniRadio broadcasts to the Lakes Region and serves all of the surrounding community by providing the most up-to-date weather, local news and any additional important information. We support our Lakes Region communities by supporting many Meredith activities.

History
WinniRadio started broadcasting on the Internet in April 2005 as an alternative avenue of playing more music, less talk and advertising. In less that three months, WinniRadio was the fastest rising Internet radio station and gaining more listeners from around the World.

In November 2005, WinniRadio decided to move towards becoming a Part 15 radio station broadcasting to the local area of Meredith. In January 2006, WinniRadio decided to stop broadcasting on the Internet and concentrating on becoming a regular FM broadcaster in five years.

In February 2006, WinniRadio and MixUtah of Spanish Fork, Utah decided to combined their efforts in promoting and distributing independent programs including: DooWop Express, The Wayback Machine, All Mixed Up!, eTime and Cheeze Pleeze. The results of this was the formation of WinniMix Productions.

In 2006, WinniRadio broadcast a live two-day radio show from Dick Clark's Rock 'n' Roll Hall in Branson, Mo. In March 2007, WinniRadio carried a live benefit show for Dennis Yost (Classic IV's lead singer) from Cincinnati, Ohio. And in November 2007, WinniRadio broadcast another two-day live radio show from Dick Clark's Rock 'n' Roll Hall in Branson, Mo.

In March 2008, WinniRadio incorporated NHCRadio and started limited broadcasting on it's own set of transmitters.

Future Goals
Our future goals are to become a real powerhouse AM/FM radio station and break away from Part 15. In addition, we would like to rejoin broadcasting on the Internet.
